Greyfriars Church was recently awarded ‘Gold Winner’ of the Project of the Year (Up to £10 million) award in recognition of its excellence and innovation at the National Building and Construction Awards.

We at JBKS Architects are so pleased that Greyfriars Church could take centre stage with this award as it reflects not only their incredible achievements but also the hard work from our team here at JBKS. It is a true testament to the dedication, ambition and expertise of all those involved – from our designers who have worked with Greyfriars Church over the years in order to create something truly remarkable, right through to the dedicated workers who put it together onsite.

The Greyfriars Church development is a unique example reflective of how JBKS Church Architects works collaboratively with clients to create stunningly beautiful buildings that bring joy and meaning into people’s lives. The project was completed by all consultants and contractors working together, including Ridge and Campbell Reith, alongside on site by main contractors (Ash Contracting). We also worked closely with suppliers, local authorities and regulators while staying true to our vision for the project.

This achievement is an important milestone not only for JBKS Church Architects but also for Greyfriars Church. We are proud that their faith-based community building continues to spark delight amongst those who have seen it being developed over these past few years.
